Performed various forms of Non-Destructive Testing all the way from small mom-and-pop machine shops to offshore drilling rigs.
Examined materials, structures and components for signs of corrosion, metal fatigue and cracks.
Selected, calibrated, or operated equipment used in non-destructive testing of products or materials.
Studied project instructions and specifications, asking questions and addressing concerns before testing began.

Conducted liquid penetrant tests to locate surface cracks by coating objects with fluorescent and visible dyes, cleaning excess penetrants and applying developers.
Conducted magnetic particle tests to locate slightly sub-surface discontinuities within various ferro-magnetic materials using fluorescent, dry powder, and color contrast applications. (Tests conducted on various material through various stages of production. From Raw Material form all the way to Final Machining, along with welds.)
Performed ultrasonic inspections (Longitudinal and Shear Wave) on tubing, bar, and plate material.
Performed thickness readings in accordance with various customer requested procedures.
Worked daily with various major and minor Specifications and Codes to meet specific requirements. (ASTM, ASME, AWS, Halliburton, National Oilwell Varco, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes, GE, Weatherford, Superior Energy, etc.) (Along with minor material/internal/supplier specifications.)
Contributed to coordinating multi-personnel jobs to conduct efficient, yet thorough, inspections and produce accurate, reliable results.
Used Microsoft Office Applications daily for reporting purposes.
