Provide expert critical care in a high-acuity Surgical/Trauma ICU within a Level 1 trauma center and teaching facility, managing complex post-surgical, multi-system trauma, and burn patients. Deliver specialized wound and burn care including burn resuscitation, dressing changes, pain management, and infection prevention strategies. Prioritize patient safety and advocacy, ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols and policies. Provide patient and family education on disease processes, procedures, and recovery expectations.
