Driven and reliable, I raised $6,000 for BuildOn, contributing significantly to breaking the cycle of poverty through education. Demonstrating strong work ethic and time management, I also ensured the well-being of children under my care as a babysitter for families like Kaci Strawn's, organizing environments and fostering positive interactions. I am a highly involved student at my school, being apart of NHS and numerous clubs like Key Club, focused on community service. I am confident in my communication skills and am a lively and welcoming person when it comes to interacting with others.
I raised $6,000 dollars individually with the buildOn chapter at my high school in efforts to break the cycle of poverty and illiteracy in underdeveloped countries. We stayed in a Senegalese village for 10 days and helped build two schools so the children could have a chance to earn the education they rightfully deserve. We engaged in manuel labor every day and were required to take a native Senegalese language course to better understand the villagers. We participated in volunteer orientations and training sessions to learn about organizational changes and mission updates.
