Performed inspections and repairs trucks, cranes, trailers and equipment. Such as Volvos, Kenworths, broderson, and manitowoc crawler cranes. Pulled motors for rebuild and helped with rebuilds in house, reinstalled and tested after completion. Worked on a 1950 Austin western grader. needed multiple repairs such as front diff rebuild, right rear drive axle replaced. Just all around freshen up on hoses, cylinders, and electrical.

• Complete repairs on all equipment types ranging from loaders, dozers, excavators, screen plants, light plants, skid loaders, tractors, dump trucks, etc. Perform annual MNDOT inspections when needed. Some repairs included resealing parts of motors, pumps, and valve to fix leaks. Removing and installing injectors on CAT equipment in the field and shop. Installing tracks on skid loaders and excavators. Diagnosing wiring issues and reading wiring schematics to help diagnose issues. Repairing Hydraulic, coolant, and oil leaks on all equipment, trucks, and machinery. Pulled cabs on loaders to complete necessary repairs. Some bigger projects completed were rebuilding an 982M front end by disassembling and reassembling the planetary and differential. Complete rebuild on a 972m front end. Repairing a 982m after a fire. Rebuilding the end of our surestrike.

• Oil changes and inspections on trucks and rumble equipment. Welding and fabrication of certain items to have them ready for road construction season.

• Repairs on Kenworths and Peterbilts. Installed a motor on a wrecked truck with everything already torn apart. Diagnosed and repaired items as needed to make sure truck were ready to go. Replaced PTOs and pumps as needed. Go on road calls and repair truck in the field, such as pumps, electrical, and air issues. Have done some work on side dumps and belly dump trailers. Mounted/dismounted tires.

• Prep equipment for season. Repairing pavers, loaders, rollers, skid steers (all CAT equipment) including bobcat skid loaders, brooms, and some repairs on shuttle buggy’s. Worked on western stars and Peterbilts. Repaired generators, jumping jacks, ground pounders, concrete saws, and leaf blowers. Made work orders to ensure proper record keeping. Repairs included replacing hydraulic motors. Rebuilding air actuated cylinders. Helping rebuild the vibrator in a steel drum roller. Replaced belts in live bottom trailers. helping field technicians with repairs at pits.

• Perform inspections on garbage trucks. Make necessary repairs on trucks that were found in the inspection. Perform repairs from driver write ups. Maintain invoices, paperwork, and parts inventory. Moved to North Branch to further my experience. Worked on ram 5500 pumper trucks. Did PM work and repairs as needed. Perform repairs on trucks once off of their route to ensure they were ready for the following day. Commuted to Minneapolis and help with repairs on rolloff trucks once a week and make sure all pumper trucks were in proper order for their route. Helped deliver and pick up porta potty’s, and restroom trailers when needed. Cleaned and repaired toilets. Over saw the shop, helped ensure other employees had their tasks for each day.

• PM work on the garbage trucks. Trucks were mostly Mack’s, also some auto cars, Peter built, and sterlings. A range from roll off, front load and side dump garbage trucks. Repairs were done as necessary, such as Brakes, wheel seals, engine repairs, motor mounts, leaf springs, lights, sensors, basic diagnostic computer work, hydraulic lines, hydraulic valves, air lines and fittings, plumbing in and rewiring plugs. Also welded dumpster bottoms on and welded pockets. Welded in the body of trucks when needed such as floors, rails, fenders, and bumpers.
