
I’m Cameron Smith, a dedicated student-athlete and experienced youth leader. Through years of competitive skiing as well as counseling at Camp Kee Tov, I’ve learned to push myself personally, but also the value of being a team-player, and the importance of mentoring with empathy. I also have a passion for the arts, language and science. As a bilingual French speaker, I am enjoy engaging and immersing myself in different cultures through travel. As an artist, I like to take the time to observe, and truly see much more deeply than what meets the eye. As a scientist, I like to seek answers and discovery.
Participated in research studying cannabinoid receptors in the brain, using adolescent tadpoles as a proxy to better understand impact of cannabis on developing humans. I coded a simulations based around the path THC takes through the eyes and into the brain.
