Solid background caring for diverse animals. Devoted to maintaining health and well-being. Meets diverse needs by closely observing animals and coordinating with owners or supervisors to optimize plans.
I started here at Lone Star Pet Lodges as a lodger & daycare worker. Both roles I took care of the well being of the animals from cats, dogs, and the occasional rabbit, guinea pig, and birds. This is anywhere from feeding and cleaning up after, from playtimes and coordinating playtime groups.
Later on that year in October I became manager of the daycare department and was in charge of the whole side of the building such as training new coworkers and coordinating "boarding upgrades" that get done throughout the day. I as well started doing daycare evaluations using the green (group play), yellow (companion play), red (day-lodging/no group play) as the category's we set in. Always making sure safety was the number one thing, alongside time management and cleanliness.
I was in charge on putting dog groups together, groups 10-25 and watching/assessing playtimes which included areas that had pools, toys, and water bowls. I cleaned kennels and yards there, including the use of chemicals on equipment. During it being hot out and having turf we wet down the turf. I as well was one that part took in evaluations seeing if the dog was fit for groups or individual playtimes.
