Highly motivated and passionate first-year educator with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan-Flint. I completed my student teaching at Barhitte Elementary school, where I worked in a first grade classroom. There I gained hands-on experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and differentiated instruction. My main goal in becoming an educator is to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported. One of my most defining traits as an educator is my ability to foster meaningful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. These relationships help create a "family" where students are successful both inside and outside the classroom. I am eager to offer fresh ideas, and bring a new found energy to a school environment while also growing as not only a professional but as a person!
