As a UA Journeymen pipefitter my objective was to read blue prints, install pipe as per drawing, aid in helping with the on the job training for the apprentices. Working safely and efficiently to meet the deadlines for the scope of work. Educate and mentor other that are new to the pipefitting and plumbing industry. Solve problems that may come up unexpectedly. Following the United Association Standard of Excellence.
Teaches apprentices the correct, safe and efficient way to install pipe. Help Foreman's, and General Foreman with ordering material, fittings, pipe etc.
Communicate with different trades, apprentices, journeymen, supervisors, safety personnel etc.
Get to work on time, teach and mentor, follow company rules and procedures, follow break and lunch times, work safely, write or help with PTP's, install piping systems, laying out, reading blue prints, BIM and CAD 3D modeling.
