· Receive incoming first class and registered type mail; inspect transactions and contents to determine if acceptable for processing by adhering to customer instructions.
· Remove contents of assigned customer mail received; ensure that items to be processed have proper payee, signature and are not post- or stale-dated; separate acceptable/processable items into two groups of items, checks and invoices. Batch checks for system input.
· Provide responses to support tickets and other related to deposit/customer processing to include: Balancing errors, incoming & outgoing adjustments conduct transfers for misapplied payments.
· Process / complete Missing or incorrect information associated with Credit card exceptions, RPPS Exceptions, ach returns, ach exceptions.
· Perform entry level customer service functions responding to customer inquiries regarding research, adjustment, and return item processing.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
