Manage remodel and maintenance issues. Keep the house clean and organized. Keep all food fresh in the house and pantry. Manage bills, and mail when needed. Pick up medications. Drop off and pick up dry cleaning. Take to medical appointments. Check house daily when she traveled. Keep flowerbeds refreshed with seasonal plants. Buy and wrap gifts for her family when needed. Decorate for all holidays.

Cleaned out and sold all of the items in the estate not wanted by the family. Prepare the property for sale. Keep property maintained during probate and facilitate the sale.

I ran an eBay business from our home in Iowa, where we went in the summer. I acquired and sold vintage linens, musical instruments, China, and furniture. Creating great experience for my customers and getting a sense of connection with the world. I still do this for my clients when we are downsizing items of value.

Hyatt Regency West Houston corporate Hotel. Waitressed the breakfast and lunch shift and filled in the bakery and behind the line when extra hands were needed. I worked holidays in formal dining and filled in for banquets. I chose this job to be home with my daughter in the afternoons.

October 1982 to April 1984

Randall’s Supermarket Bakery sales manager.

My duties were hiring and managing the bakery workers. Oversee the bakers when the manager was off. Filling in for the cake decorator and baking when needed. Keeping the bakery, clean and organized at all times. Keep the cases and shelves cleaned and organized. I won an award in 1983 for the best decorated cases at Christmas and was spotlighted in a national supermarket magazine.

April 1984 to September 1992

Duties included, keeping the office, clean and organize. Working with customers as they came into order. Receiving checks and logging them in and sending them to corporate. Keeping the books. And mailing out bills. Left to have a baby.

Hardee’s hamburger restaurant. As a Dayshift manager. Duties were shift, leader, manage schedule, and employees, open restaurant and do set up and order supplies, oversee the lunch shift.
