By starting working at 16, I have learned how to cooperate with people of various backgrounds including cultures, ages, and personalities, whether it were alongside customers or coworkers. I have the experience of starting fresh in two jobs where in food service I learned to be thorough when it comes to counting, serving, multitasking, and communicating. I also learned through having a job time management, I always show up to work on time and complete my shift having finished all preparations and closing services needed.
Additionally, I chose to graduate through the International Baccalaureate program with my high school. Having completed so successfully I now have a biliteracy seal in the Spanish language and learned how to properly manage coursework, extra curriculars, and a job. The coursework for this program is the hardest available in Volusia County; thus, I have learned in abundance the importance and effectiveness of reading, writing, math and science. Also through this program I have met some of the hardest working individuals I have encountered including my peers, teachers and counselors. It is through them I take example in bettering myself through school and work.
