Camilo Garica

I am a high school senior apart of the first graduating class of Alonso high schools new IB program. I am a dedicated member of two different sports teams. My soccer team and the Alonso cross country team. In 6th grade id found the team that i would stick with forever and regained love for the sport. Captained the team for 7 years and was elected players MVP each year for determination, performance, and leadership skills. The team has many medals and one league winning trophy. To add on, the cross-country team allowed me to find mental strength I never knew I had and I pushed through every difficult practice and race. I am a senior captain and my attendance rates and determination serve as an example for underclassmen. I was elected to run in the county championship. Lastly, Being apart of Model UN has allowed me to be knowledgeable on world issues and has also improved my communication skills. I competed at Gator MUN where i built connections with delegates from around the country. I have also received eligibility for many college soccer trials, the national honors society, and IB homeroom male representative.
