My goal is obtain a position that I believe is challenging and will help me to develop essential life skills while allowing me to use the leadership skills that I have already gained as a reliable rail worker with experience in yard environments. Skilled in operating and maintaining locomotives and equipment, as well as troubleshooting and resolving problems. Committed to ensuring safe and timely rail yard operations to keep operations running smoothly and on-time. I also wish to use my skills as a quick thinker, fast learner, and great team player to help with the development of the establishment and its employees.
I had a bright football experience at the high school and college level were I learn people skill, team building, leadership, development, and self motivation. I was able to hone in skills critical to the everyday aspects of networking, like communication and camaraderie. Each game day I would have to exhibit trust in the orders and directions that where provided by our coach or quarterback, and help translate those directions to others in real time, this is a skill that has transferred to every one of my professional opportunities leading up to this present moment. I became a good leader by my willingness to learn and show myself willing to dedicate to the best of myself for the best of our team. I pride myself on learning problem solving skills that have allowed me to build rapport and great working relationships in the everyday success of each establishment I have been apart of.
