Camryn Hays

My long-term goals are deeply rooted in my passion for teaching and positively impacting children. I aspire to be a source of love, support, and guidance for children who may not be given these vital elements in their lives. I want to help nurture their development, encourage their aspirations, and foster an environment where they feel valued and cared for. My aim is to make a meaningful difference in their upbringing.

In the future, I plan to further my impact by becoming a professor. Through higher education, I hope to share my knowledge, experiences, and passion with students. Teaching at this level will allow me to inspire students, and contribute to their academic success. My ultimate goal is to leave a lasting impact of love and education.

• Victory Baptist Church- The first Tuesday of each month, I volunteer for numerous organizations at Victory Baptist Church, and I attend services twice a week
• YMCA Summer Camp Group Leader, 2021-2024- Monday-Friday throughout the summer I would organize group crafts, games, and educational activities for children. Handling up to 35 children at a time, I ensured their safety, engagement, and enjoyment during various camp activities.

My family’s financial situation poses significant challenges in affording my college education. While both of my parents are employed in well-paying jobs, they are burdened by substantial debt, and the financial responsibility of supporting four children As a result, they are unable to contribute to my college expenses or cosign loans. Furthermore, their income disqualifies me from receiving enough financial aid to cover tuition and other necessary costs. This set of circumstances has placed the financial burden of my education entirely on me. Receiving financial assistance would significantly ease this burden and allow me to focus fully on achieving my academic and career aspirations
