  • Recruited for multi-level role with startup with truly disruptive technology and first of its kind data. Accepted position after evaluation of history, study data and increasing buildout of new technology in the form of system and software within the spinal cord stimulation/pain management/neurosurgery spaces.
  • Part of strategy team determining key markets, targeting, contracting possibilities, resource allocation and team structures with the long-term goal towards developing a Key/Strategic Accounts team.
  • Researched key markets, emerging markets, competition structure within those markets, population, and market density to evaluate individual territory creation and alignment.

  • Part of team responsible for consolidation of the SCS & VFX units within the BSCI Neuromodulation division, bring them together under one leadership silo. Asked to take over a combination of two underperforming regions, Austin & Houston, with a total headcount of 26.
  • Responsible for direction of the Area Managers, the Clinical Specialists within each team who report to them and dotted line to Field Clinical Engineers within region.
  • Combined regions had closed 2021 at $880K of revenue per headcount, falling well short of the required revenue number within the Neuromod division.
  • Evaluated each Area Manager & Clinical Specialist individually and as a team member.
  • Post-evaluation, introduced and implemented realignments based on factors such as geography potential and/or personality in relation to key accounts.
  • Coached those with room for improvement to desired results or encouraged them to look at their career, their current position then discuss how we could help them best moving forward.
  • Put directives in place to reduce PO Pending from $780K+ to less than $100K within a twelve month period, clearing some PO’s over 400 days and increasing actual revenue collections.
  • Developed two Vertiflex Territory Account Managers and one Spinal Cord Stim Clinical Specialist into full line Total Pain TMs.
  • Interviewed for and hired five Clinical Specialists and threeTerritory Managers based on expansion needs or backfill.
  • After a six-month total evaluation period, re-allocated resources throughout region based on various KPIs, continued growth potential and overall regional needs.
  • Adjusted territory lines accordingly and merged where appropriate.
