I create swabs including listeria, APC, ATPs, lactic & allergens swabs. I can also complete swabs & collect micro & chemistry samples in a timely manner.

I send all swabs, micro & chemistry samples to a lab in Columbus Ohio. I also kit up, collect & send air plates for APC & yeast and mold & water samples. These are also sent to the lab in Columbus Ohio. I enter & submit all samples in the FSNS portal.

I go over results & create corrective action swabs when needed. I also get results for micros & chemistry samples & submit additional samples for additional testing when needed.

I create & print labels for production. This includes basic labels, date &/or line sensitive labels along with allergen labels. I also keep the blank label stock full in a cabinet in my working area.

I send our sample requests to customers using FEDEX couriers. I work with the kitchen manager to assure samples being sent out are within spec.

I walk all production areas for SSOPs & follow up on any issues within the area with team members, leads &/or supervisors. This includes making sure all areas are clean, no condensation, blade checks, GMPS are being followed correctly & temperatures are within spec. Anything out of spec or needing follow ups are revisited in a timely manner.

I also have knowledge of the SAP system for SSOP entries, stock locations, label verifications, & production entries

I worked at Deufol in Sunman Indiana formally known as J&J Packaging in Brookville Indiana.

I was hired through a temporary agency in the summer of 2001 as a line worker in the Brookville Indiana area. On November 3rd 2003 was hired on full time continuing as a line worker until 2005 when I applied & was accepted as a quality tech. The company was still located in the Brookville area. In 2009 the company relocated to Suman Indiana & I followed keeping my quality position. I continued as a quality tech until July 3rd 2018. The company announced that the plant was closing & I then seeked out employment at Sugar Creek.

I insured that all packaging and materials were packed in a timely manner with correct code dates & labeling. I also made labels for production. Including date & line sensitive labels. I also entered finished product at the finish goods gate prior to shipping loading into a trailer.
