As co- owner of a small custom bakery, my daughter and I worked from a commissary kitchen to create custom bakery goods for our growing number of clients. We baked all sorts of products including cheesecakes, layer cakes, cupcakes, gourmet cookies, brownies and more. Unfortunately, Covid forced us to close our business in the shared kitchen environment and we could not find another affordable commissary location.
I feel that I have a very good knowledge in most aspects for food prep and presentation having also done catering work in our business. I have experience with food safety and commercial kitchen procedures as well.
It would be an honor to work in a professional environment preparing meals and food products customized for residents enjoyment and special preferences for their particular "wants and needs" to make them feel special and well served. After all, they deserve it!
