Step Up Tutoring is a nonprofit that provides high-impact tutoring to help close the opportunity gap.
• Meet 1:1 with your student a minimum of twice a week
• Help students develop math skills, confidence, and critical thinking abilities
• Kept records of student progress
• Focused on foundational elementary skills to foster confidence and a positive mindset
• Offer ongoing communication about student progress with teachers and families
• Assisted students with homework assignments and teach them how to perform calculations.

This non-profit organization, driven by volunteers, is dedicated to helping children with autism grow through the sport of tennis. ACEing Autism is on a mission for children with autism to grow, develop, and benefit from social connections and fitness through affordable tennis programming, uniquely serving individual needs while filling a national void for this growing and worthy population.

I volunteered by facilitating a booth to help the Carnival function. The Carnival supports the children of K.L. Carver Elementary in San Marino. This includes programs in the Arts, Music, STEM Lab, Innovation Lab, Health and Safety, Community Outreach, and Family Educational programs. These programs uphold Carver Elementary school’s esteemed educational standards and it’s national recognition as both a California Distinguished School and a National Blue Ribbon Award recipient.
