Marine Mechanic

• Ensure that all water taxis are filled during water bus season.
• Fix any issues that may occur on any vessel
• Inspected engines for corrosion, wear and leaks.
• Installed new marine engines and components according to manufacturer's specifications.
• Repaired fuel system components such as fuel tanks , lines and filters.
• Rebuilt outboard engines using specialized tools and techniques.
• Replaced worn or damaged parts on vessels such as propellers or shafts.
• Operated a variety of hand tools to perform tasks such as cutting metals, pvc and wood.
• Ensure tasks are done in a safe and timely matter.
• Resolve Electrical issues that may occur on the vessels including installing lighting, radios, placing outlets, replace breakers
• Resolve Plumbing issues when they occur amongst the vessels.
• Performed routine maintenance, such as lubrication of parts and systems, changing filters, checking fluid levels, and tightening bolts and screws.
• perform and over see U.S. Coast Guard COI
• Inspect fire pump, bilge pump, high water alarms, and fire hoses etc.

Captain/First Officer

• Pilot and navigate the vessel, ensuring the safety of all passengers.
• Act accordingly when there is an emergency amongst a vessel.
• Practice and preform fire drills, man over board, and security threats.
• perform security checks upon the arrival of guests.
• Report all and any issues that may arise during charters.
• Comply with all US Coast Guard regulations.
• Perform engine room checks.

• Handle annual COI inspections
• Pilot or navigate all vessels in the fleet
• Ensure the safety of all crew and passengers
• Make sure maintenance is current before every departure
• Train crew members according to their job descriptions
• Go over contract & inform my crew what kind of event we will be boarding so that they may set up the vessel accordingly
• Clean & inspect vessel to make sure it's fit to head out on the channels in marina del rey as well as inspect all our safety equipment in case of emergency
• Make sure bar is fully stock and ready for any event
• Set up appetizers buffet
• Check restrooms & make sure running properly
• Once vessel is set up inform contact or host that they may board accordingly for inspection as well as to briefly go over contract
• Board and take a head count of all people boarded the vessel
• Check for traffic, untie all lines before disembarking.
• Finally and most importantly ensure that every guest that cruises with us has an amazing experience.

• Manage a wide variety of sales
• Managed a team of 4 to success everyday to reach our goals
• Gave monthly assessments to my team to make sure our work was always accurate and did constant training
• Handle the bookkeeping, made deposits, went daily to the bank to make deposits
• Did propane selling and refilling, made wood sells and deliveries, checked in/out Penske trucks, rented spaces for RVs and boats
• Mailed customers their receipts and any late notice fee
• Opened and closed the business, walked the premises during my shift and at closing to ensure the property was secure
• Worked side by side with my manager on the payroll and schedule.

• I would go to 15 stores every shift to break up loads and build displays for major events such as soccer, football, and boxing events
• Put all of Missions Beverage merchandise is well stocked on the floor and neatly organized in the back rooms
• Worked closely with my supervisor and did daily inventory on the merchandise of every store so I would not have any shortage during the week or big events
• Helped my fellow co-workers with their routes if they needed help
• Kept a respectful relationship with store/assistant managers to assure my job was being completed and get signed off
• Drove a company vehicle every shift.

• Delivered great customer service to customers joining us for a dine-in experience, greeted myself and explained how the dine theater worked
• Took their beverage and food order before the movie and assured their meals/beverages were delivered on time
• Anticipated my guest needs, if they needed a refill, sauces, napkins, or any other request such as ordering desserts or food
• Pre-bussed all my tables, help run food to movie theaters, did my side work such as silverware, kept studying new menu items and beverages as well.
