While at this specific store, I carried two roles. Stocking 2 Team Lead and Front End Team Lead.

As Stocking Team Lead, I was in charge of unloading all trucks that came in on my specific shift as well as the main DC truck daily. I also implemented a brand new inventory program that is still used now. I was also in charge of inventory of the back room and the stocking team. I approved attendance and vacation days as well as hired, trained and terminating employees. I had weekly team meetings with my team, other teams and my direct supervisor. I have had extensive training in Human Resources and policies/procedures which was done during our weekly training sessions with other team leads and the store manager.

As the Front End Team Lead I ran several different shifts. I was in charge of making schedules, approving days off as well as hiring, training and terminating employees. I had various duties that include changing the lottery machine, running customer service and adhering to a schedule so we had accurate coverage. I assisted employees with any work related issues. I ran reports and did the daily deposit. I worked closely with other departments so they were also adequately covered. I attended weekly training/refreshers with other members of management as well as the store manager.

At the Shrewsbury Walmart location my duties included making sure the front end ran as smooth as possible and addressing any issues that would hinder that from happening. I also deposited money, ran reports and assisted the accounting department in an discrepancies that occurred. I ran the service desk when needed or we were short on staff as well as the registers when needed. I assisted our asset protection in their daily duties as well.
