More about me
I have been playing clarinet for a total of 7 years. While serving as the Principal Clarinetist for the San Bernardino Symphony Youth Orchestra, I gained valuable insights into leadership. I had the opportunity to work closely with the conductors and support my fellow musicians. We were able to explore the deeper meaning of how to play the pieces we were handed.
I also attended Interlochen Arts Camp this summer and was a part of the World Youth Wind Symphony. The Interlochen Arts Camp was a life-changing experience because it helped me understand the importance of music and why we need it in our lives. It also taught me how to practice efficiently and plan effectively. It taught me to have grace with every person I meet and open my mind to other people’s abilities, realizing that on such a high level, we are all here to support each other and create amazing music. The conductors that I had over those six weeks have truly inspired me to keep teaching and playing music.
