General Office Tasks:

  • Processing any discard or miscellaneous checks our location receives into SAP, along with sending the checks to the lock box.

  • Creating invoices for our off-site storage bins and then sending them over to be processed with our accounts payable department.
  • Submitting expense reports for employees clothing allowance purchases.
  • Placing clothing allowance orders from our preferred vendors for our employees.


Payroll:

  • Checking weekly that employees have entered their time worked correctly into the ADP system.
  • Creating timecards for our temporary workers when needed and sending them onto the temporary worker agencies for processing.


Quality and Safety:

  • Responsible for sending out local and corporate SOP trainings.
  • Being involved in our quality audits.
  • Updating our vendors Certificate of Insurance onto our “R-Drive.”
  • Helping with the GEST quarterly reports and Exposure Hours monthly reports.


Data Entry:

  • Entering our discard loads into our SAP system.
  • Scaling in/out our shell corn trucks and making sure the driver has the proper paperwork.


Field:

  • Making Grower Sales/Offers and answering or directing the growers to the appropriate personnel when they call into the office.
  • Helping with invoicing for field contractors in our SeedPro system.
  • Responsible for completing field binders for the field team.
  • Helping with our grower contracts.
  • Saving documents into our grower’s repository.


Harvest:

  • Operating the scale for green corn, silage and cob trucks.
  • Communicating with our silage carriers on the number of loads they have hauled out.
  • Making the green corn truck binders with area maps for directions.
