This job was short term and was agreed on that. I had a surgery so needed an office job - I filled in for their main employee while she was on maternity leave.
This job was short lived because the landlord had to sell their building. Due to this situation, the company moved from a large warehouse to working out of their home. They laid off several employees due to no office space.
Currently employed here on weekends- if hired to a new position I will be able to leave this position.
At the Equestrian Reserve I hold many job titles. I was the Manager & Lead Instructor. I gave lessons to 70 students a week, while managing schedules, lesson plans, care for the 17 horses, and bookkeeping. I loved this job and working with kids.
I worked at Saloon for almost a year. I loved the environment and the people I worked with. I was among their top selling servers and picked up the slack of servers who were less experienced. I am exceptional on getting my job done, but helping others along the way. I left Buckhead Saloon because I was offered another position closer to home.
I worked about 80 hours a week to open this establishment and take pride in every one of them. I helped train a full staff of 30 servers and bartenders and took on a large portion of managerial duties. I am a fast efficient bartender and I have gained vast knowledge of the bar/restaurant industry. I would bartend and manage myself most nights. Letters of recommendation from my former boss is available from this establishment. Reason for leaving this establishment was only because I moved to Atlanta.
I worked at this APHA show barn for the summer of 2007. Here I was responsible for feed and upkeep of 50 head of horses. I dealt with students and other equestrian people all day as well as running a tack store that was in this barn. I worked here about 75-80 hours a week and loved every minute of it. Hard labor but some fun times to learn and expand in my horse knowledge. This farm was mainly focused on pleasure however I learned some other styles along the way.
Bates Quarter Horses was my favorite Equestrian job that I have ever had. Here I had the opportunity to train problem horses and break their bad habits. I learned a lot about breeding and foaling processes. We had mainly roping horses here and went trail riding all day as well as arena work. I bailed hay here as well as other hard labor such as cleaning stalls, fixing fencing, and feeding all the horses.
