-Serves as a member of the F1 Visa Student Fraud Team, assisting and training other Immigration Services Officers with cases where applicants are attending schools with suspected fraudulent behaviors, threats to National Security, or who have been hired by suspected fraudulent employers across the United States.

-Independently reviews and adjudicates the Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, student categories, to include pre and post-optional practical training, STEM extensions, Economic Hardship, Special Student Relief, and Off-Campus Employment for qualifying international organizations.

-Conducts independent research concerning the eligibility of applicants using a variety of Immigration systems to include ELIS, PCQS, CPMS, SEVIS, BADS, etc.

-Affectively adjudicates the Form I-765 c(5) category which is employment authorization for the spouse or child of a J-1 visa exchange visitor.

-Adjudicates the Form I-765 c(8) category, which is employment authorization for Asylum seekers.

-Assisting with planning, organizing and directing team and task force efforts within the Student Fraud Team.

-As a member of the Student Fraud team, I give guidance to other officers on specific items that need to be asked for in requests for evidence, reviewing the evidence once its received, and making recommendations on whether or not pre or post adjudication referrals to the Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate are necessary.

-Mentored six new Officers to the division who had recently learned how to adjudicate the Form-I-765 c(8). Reviewed cases with them, assisted with TECS related issues and resolution memos, and ensured availability for any questions.

-Assists in the planning and development of divisional meetings, creating powerpoints, spreadsheets, and other material to be shared.
