Responsibilities include:

  • Determined staffing needs for the project and coordinated with employees for project scheduling including nights, weekends and short staff.
  • Mentored new inspection staff on PennDOT resources and procedures.
  • Assisted with project paperwork including reviewing staff PSA's for content and payment, drafting work orders and work authorizations, processing estimates and adjustments, completing CUFF reviews, conducting wage rate interviews, completing rotational capacity testing, project accident documentation, and drafting requests for additional funding from DPMC.
  • Reviewed PPCC and ECMS daily for required paperwork based on the Pub 408 including shop drawings, source of supply, and certificate of compliance.
  • Coordinated with various departments during the construction process including Environment, Bridge and Roadway Design, Utilities, ROW, Maintenance and adjacent construction projects.
  • Coordinated field meetings, scheduling across stakeholders, chairing, documenting minutes. Field meetings included progress control meetings, asphalt and concrete pre-placement meetings, property owner concerns, environmental remediation, utility coordination, final inspection, railroad flagging, and meetings with local cities or townships.
  • Reviewed the CPM Schedule updates for the project and mitigated potential delays.
  • Completed weekly site environmental reviews, ensuring permit requirements are met by the contractor during construction.
  • Coordinating with contractors on deficiencies and potential remediation actions.
  • Completed traffic control reviews for detours, short term closures, and long term closures. Notified contractor of any issues and completed CS-901 reports.
  • Scheduled material testing for the project and setting up sampling for concrete, asphalt and aggregate.
  • Tracked utility relocation on the project, mitigating potential delays or claims caused by utility delays.

  • Salem - Manchester I-93 Widening - reconstruction, widening, and bridge replacements for a 19.8-mile segment in southern New Hampshire.
  • Manchester Airport Access Road, Bedford NH - new two-mile four-lane limited access highway, four major bridges, four bridge ramps, two round-a-bouts, and realignments of several existing roadways.
  • Hooksett Open Road Tolling, Hooksett NH - reconstruction of the existing toll plaza for open road tolling, updated underground tunnel connecting the toll booths.
  • Manchester I-293 Exit 5 Granite Street, Manchester NH - widening I-293 section of the FE Everette Turnpike with four ramp reconstructions
