Handle entire claim from initial meeting with client through settlement or trial. Reduce attorney workload by drafting routine legal documents such as summons and complaints, pleadings, discovery compliance and pretrial memorandums;
Assist counsel in preparing answers, providing documentation, and information for initial and supplemental discovery requests;
Edit and proofread legal documents to verify accuracy;
Review and outline client's medical records;
Research and outline client's prior medical treatment and medical records;
Finalize and file temporary and involuntary petitions with probate courts for several large hospitals in Connecticut;
Research defendant assets; and
Accurately diary and meet statutory deadlines.
