Summary
My journey through Cox Health System was 35 years. I started out as a clinic nurse with a Geriatric Physician. When he joined Cox Health, I joined. After 20 years with this provider, I was hired as an Application\Business Analyst within Cox Health Information Systems to support the Electronic Medical Record. Eventually a new application was brought to CoxHealth which I provided support. I eventually went back to nursing by rejoining the original clinic of Cox Senior Health Center working with the nurse practitioners.
During this time, I worked for Walgreens as a 2nd job, part time. Originally I worked in the pharmacy and then worked on the floor. I had a brief intermission in my work with Walgreens due to surgery issues and was rehired to work at Walgreens.
I am committed to working hard, staying sharp and working with people. I spent the last 3 years working overtime for Cox Health at the Covid testing sites and Test result notification. I was working as much as 15 to 30 hours on top of the 40 hrs of my regular job with the clinic.
