Perform traffic control and enforce traffic regulations as required by TAA rule and regulations and federal regulations, direct , control and regulate traffic, including issuing citations. Proficiently drive airport vehicles, including passenger cars and vans to perform variety of enforcement and/or customer service initiatives. Assist police officers with the investigation of minor non- injury, private automobile accidents. Assist police officers in crowd and riot control, including evacuation and any other duties as directed. Summon police , fire and emergency medical personnel. Prepare reports of investigative findings by written form or dictation. Perform public assistance activities to include first aid to sick and injured persons, assist motorists, direct traffic, assist and refer persons in need. Communicate effectively, in person and/or by radio or telephone. Maintain and operate proficiently , a variety of tools, vehicles, computers, and any other assigned equipment. Recognize violations and work effectively with federal, state, county and city governmental agencies. Perform tasks mandated by federal government pertaining to civil aviation security regulations (TSA Part 1542) and safety regulations (FAR Part 139). Liaison with the Ground Transportation Coordinator on all matters related to ground transportation. Attend meetings as directed by supervisor. Be responsive to airport emergencies and situations that may involve loss of human life or property; support public safety and operational response to emergencies; utilize incident management system (ICS) National Incident Management System (NIMS) protocols and procedures; coordinate and/or participate in after- action emergency debriefing with appropriate departments and stakeholders.
