Being an all-around good student athlete in high school. Being a member of the girls track team, National Honors Society, and The HERD spirit group while graduating with a 4.0 GPA helped with future skills. When it came to track, being extremely dependable and trustworthy was key. My teammates and coaches can rely on me. I started college at TAMIU in the fall of 2021, with 30+ credit hours toward my degree. In both the fall and spring semesters, I maintained a good GPA and made Honor Roll. I am currently pursuing a pre-nursing degree and intend to take the HESI this fall. I would volunteer with the Laredo Down Syndrome Association outside of high school. I'd play softball on Saturday mornings, volunteer at Christmas parties and Easter egg hunts, and generally provide a safe environment for these kids to have fun. I am currently employed as an apparel associate at Academy Sports and Outdoors. In this position, I'm in charge of keeping the store clean and safe for customers to shop in. I always offer my customer service and am always prepared to assist other departments in the business, such as the cashier.
