Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the company’s Part 135/91 training programs including maintaining pilot training records, tracking pilot currency and arranging training events. As well as responsible for overseeing all activities connected with the tracking, scheduling, application, receipt and review of records, and the logging of required training events. Works directly with the Director of Training, Chief Pilot, and Director of Operations, as appropriate, to maintain the highest level of regulatory compliance possible as it relates to required Company training events.
- Populate and maintain current and accurate information in the pilot records (both written records and electronic) and archived files.
- Forecasting monthly training and checking requirements, generating the Crew Due Report, and updating the schedule accordingly.
- Forecast future training needs at contracted training centers
- Interface with various departments when scheduling training to ensure no conflicts exist and that all departments have access to information
- Coordinate training for new and current crew members including arranging classroom space, instructors, crew notifications, fire department, and travel/hotel accommodations.
- Prepare Records of Training and other documents for review and certification.
- Maintain training locations to ensure accuracy and update in appropriate software programs.
- Provides administrative support and performs other duties for the Manager of Training.
- Responsible for the review of all required training records to ensure that all related regulatory record keeping requirements are met in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company checklists.
- Complete monthly auditing of flight crewmember training records on a continual basis to ensure they are accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Develop and maintain, in coordination with the Director of Training and Director of Operations, flight crewmember Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all flight crewmember training event record-keeping requirements.
- Update FSI/CAE with training related documents.
- Maintain Pilot records – Training and Qualifications
- Respond to and clear crew legalities.
- Maintain due items lists.
- Manually update Wyvern/Argus for all Airshare certificates.
- Maintain contract check airman records.
- Track original FSI and CAE records.
- Scan & Enter training records to Quickbase, and Avianis
- Initial Setup & input hours into Avianis for automatic updates
- Initial pilot setup in Quickbase, Avianis for all crew members
- Release to duty for pilots.
- Adding/updating contractors in Quickbase and Avianis
