I am a highly skilled physical therapist assistant with over 13yrs of experience which includes 12+yrs of outpatient orthopedics, 8+yrs of home health, & 3yrs outpatient geriatrics and skilled nursing. I also have 1yr of experience as clinical rehab director. Patient Advocation: I wholeheartedly seek to effectively communicate with supervising physical therapists, physicians, insurance companies, and state legislatures to provide patients with the best care and to help them achieve maximal functional level as well as improved quality of life. I assist my patients in effectively communicating their needs, values, and rights.
Life Coaching/Mentoring: I take an active role in providing clinical/practice observation experience to students interested in and needing observation hours for application requirements and or acceptance into a PT or PTA program. I also provide counsel and support to various individuals needing encouragement, accountability, life skill development, and professional/work ethic development.
Local Church Leadership & Community Involvement: I believe strongly in serving the community through being planted in the local church. I have volunteered and have actively participated in various aspects of church leadership for 25years including: Children's Church Teacher, Youth Leader, & Women's Ministry Director.
