As supervisor for Fort Robinson, main responsibility is organizing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping crew. This includes using ReserveAmerica to run reports, lining out crews, and working with other departments to help achieve goals and overall objectives of the Park as a whole. To achieve departmental goals I would help develop and execute plans associated with day-to-day operations. I was also responsible for training new employees on housekeeping as it pertained to the Park.
My main responsibility was leading guided horseback and historic tours for large and small groups to showcase different attractions and the history of the Fort. Between tours, I maintained equipment, care of park horses, and maintaining the appearance of the park. I assisted customers booking events at the park booth. I also have minor work experience at the Suttler Store.
Primary objective was to keep a welcoming and helpful atmosphere for the guests in a ever changing and dynamic work situation. Daily duties included checking guests in and answering phones. Communicated with customers regarding their stay to maintain satisfaction. Assisted in visitor services, office management, and event coordination
As a hired hand I was responsible for caring for and feeding cattle on daily basis. Also, general upkeep of equipment, building, and land to ensure everything could run smoothly.
