• Large projects- updating guarding, fixing docking systems, updating/creating LOTO procedures, creating and implementing an electrical and respiratory program, implementing impact monitors, and working towards PPE vending as well as becoming ISO 14001 certified.

• Instructor of all of trainings including: First-Aid/CPR/AED, forklift, incident reporting, crane, LOTO, and etc.
• Prepared internal and external audit to meet ISO 140001 standards.
• Handle all workers compensation claims.
• Annual reporting for MDEQ, City of Grand Rapids, & MIOSHA.
• Other items: JSAs, LOTO annual inspection/ updating LOTO placards, safety committee, ergonomics, new hire orientation, and handle any safety or environmental issues that occur within the plant.
• Undertook wastewater and switched to an automatic system for chemical addition, eliminating risk for human error.

• Big projects include: training programs such as lockout/tagout, forklift, over head crane and etc.
  
• Day to day work: updating and creating written procedures, incident analysis and workers compensation.
• Organize and run the safety committee for GR 29, conduct new hire training, set up CPR training, & hearing tests.
