Accomplishments

  • As an Intern at WXII News 12 in Winston-Salem, NC during the 2012-2013 school years I worked as a Production Assistant, operating teleprompter, Cameras, Sound Board and Floor Director.
  • During the 2011-2013 school years I hosted a one (1) hour radio program broadcasting Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) as well as national sports news at WSNC 90.5 FM Sports Talk Radio. In this position I interviewed many local high school and college athletes and coaches, as well as professionals such as broadcaster Stephen A. Smith as well as NBA stars star Chris Paul and LeBron James.
  • Also, I did commentary for WSSU sporting events and the Chris Paul All Star Basketball Game which was held in Winston-Salem during 2011.
  • I was a three (3) year varsity member of WSSU's Women's basketball team. (NCAA Division 1 & 2).
  • During my time at WSSU I volunteered as an assistant basketball coach at Carver High School in Winston-Salem, as well as a volunteer counselor with the WSSU Community Literacy Program and the WSSU Drug Free Program.
  • In addition I have served as a Counselor for the Chris Paul Basketball Camps.
