Professional Summary
I am an experienced Fitter/Welder, with 15+ years in the Automotive, Automation, Government, and Aerospace Industries. I am experienced in a variety of welding, including ARC, MIG, and TIG welding of Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Kirksite, and Mild and Hardened Steels. From sheet metal enclosures, and machine frames/bases, to guarding, and tool and die repair; as well as bond tools and custom automotive work. I can build from blue prints, sketches, or verbal instructions. i specialize in MIG and TIG Aluminum or Steels. I have my own personal equipment, tool box, and tools.
As a Quality Assurance Inspector, i have 18 months of experience in dimensional data acquisition in the Aerospace Industry, as well as 18 months of quality assurance in metal stamping. My responsibilities included: checking customer's tooling for critical dimensions and correct build against the required prints and DIN tolerances according to the required customer specifications, using Micrometers, Calipers, Depth gauges, Bore gauges, and assorted measuring tools to obtain needed information, as well as push-pull test and full breakage. I input my findings into the correlating job check sheets and TIR's into the computer. I worked with customers to assure and ascertain all specs and tolerances are being met for form, fit, and functions. I maintained test fixtures for correlating stamped parts.
