I am doctoral candidate at Northern Arizona University where my dissertation focus is on Latinx students and student success in online education at a community college. I am passionate about doing qualitative research on diversity, equity, and inclusion of Latinx students in education.
My current role allows me to focus on technologies and work to align them with culturally responsive pedagogies to facilitate student success and close equity gaps at the institutional levels as well as the curriculum levels. I create relationships internally as well as externally to focus on the college strategic goals and objectives. Strategic-thinking individual experienced in turning low-performing areas into top performing units. VMWare 5.0 integration, setup and administration. . Set Up private cloud. Customized DRS Cluster. . Setup VDS for vMotion, sDRS, Fault Tolerance, HA, and Resource pools. . vCenter Administration of customer platforms remotely. Worked with Server 2008 and Linux platforms to create Org units and child OU's that was representative of our sites and helped clients overseas setup there Windows Server platform integrated with VMware to create a truly fault tolerant system. Provided transfer of knowledge sessions and worked to instill ITILv3 standards in managing my teams handling of end users problems by creating expectations for support issues.

Product Development processes to: Lead and/or participate on the planning, development and execution of Integration and Leads and/or participate on Test automation efforts for projects Report on the verification and validation quality, as well as advising the project teams on quality-related course of actions. Collaborate on project Defect Tracking. Participates on the domain expertise for the team that specifies processes and standards for Quality Control and defect management.
Product Development processes to Lead and/or participate on the planning, development and execution of projects Configuration Management. Apply Configuration Management principles and tasks to manage the state of the development artifacts. Report on the Configuration Management status. Leads the build and deployment infrastructure development and enforcement efforts. Participates on the domain expertise for the team that specifies processes and standards for Configuration Management.
Acts as direct contact for software vendor and troubleshoots all software and vendor issues. Develops and Implements appropriate system procedures and controls. Reviews and monitors transaction processing and output. Interfaces with clinical staff and finance regarding information flow and accuracy. Ensures accurate and timely information is entered
into the computer system. Works with Contracts to ensure contract information related to claims is entered into the system in a timely manner. Works with software vendor regarding claims submission, adjudication of claims and Explanation of Benefits. Produces a variety of monthly and ad hoc reports and oversees their distribution to appropriate staff members in a timely manner. Serves as a Casa de los Niños liaison to partner agencies and other subcontractors
regarding all claims issues. Trains staff on issues related to Electronic Health Records system. Attends all meetings related to the claims system. Works closely with data entry clerk or other staff positions working in the claims department. Works with the Director, Behavioral Health Network, Clinical Director, and Quality and Compliance Director in analyzing utilization and cost data for process improvement activities. ServiceNow product, used ITIL based standards to manage 3 tiers of support for CampusVue Management Systems.
ServiceNow allowed us to really streamline our processes and track KPI's along with creating ITIL reports to present to management for reporting purposes and to see where our processes were failing. ServiceNow product line allowed BridgePoint to better use IT strategies to meet business objectives and make us more efficient at meeting end user expectations. CampusVue Application Administrator, work independently to resolve end user help desk requests, advanced administration, and assigned projects. Additionally work closely with Systems Administrators, Database Administrators, Database Developers, Application Super Users, Business Analysts and, End Users in configuration and troubleshooting the CampusVue student information system. Run Student DPR Reports. Serve as Tier III support for CampusVue (SIS), UAT Testing of new revisions. Quality testing. Perform basic SQL Server 2008 queries. Participate in Change Management using ITILv3 model. Establish, monitor, evaluates, and improve processes, procedures and/or standards, ensuring alignment with the College mission, values, goals, objectives, initiatives and local, state, and Federal laws and regulations.
