At BYD we built electric trucks and buses, my role was to fabricate and weld different components that help make up the truck/bus. Being since im certified in aluminum, i would handle all aluminum welds and repairs. i became a lead shortly after starting and was in charge of reading and fabricating blueprints as well as managing others. i moved all throughout the company and have experience in multiple areas such as fabrication, powder coating, wiring electrical harnesses, worked with low and high voltage, forklift certified, operating CNC machines, plasma cutting, and much more.

My role was to weld, grind, and fabricate as well as use different cnc machines. I worked with steel, stainless, and aluminum. During my second year I became lead of the welding department and my job was to fulfill orders, bring in and prep all materials needed for the day and ensure everyone is performing well. At this site I was also in charge of safety and 5S and also helped organize multiple kaizen events.
