  • Operations/Traffic & Safety: Assisted in designing a road diet for US-12 in Milton Township. A completed cost estimate has been done, as well as a Maintenance of Traffic plan for the US-131 bridge project. Completed TWA's for the Kalamazoo TSC. Assisted in reviewing plans and permits, such as driveways, beautification projects, and stormwater. Assisted in contacting and coordinating meetings with gas, municipal, electric, and water companies to relocate any utility within MDOT's right of way.
  • Bridge Design: Designed a typical deck section, plan view, and a cost estimate for a bridge project using Open Bridge Modeler in Osceola County.
  • Road Design: Designed sidewalks, cross sections, and profiles using Open Roads Designer. Created a cost estimate using PQS and Open Roads Designer. Assisted in updating & annotating pavement markings in Open Roads Design.
  • Construction: Assisted the lead inspector in overseeing the construction project in Lawton. The city of Lawton was a total reconstruction project with the replacement of box culvert. Verified & measured quantiles used in the project were relative to what the plans called out such as HMA quantity, sidewalk, electrical wiring, & sign installation. Worked with the contractor to verify and confirm that grading, curb, and gutter forms were being constructed according to MDOT standards.
  • Hydraulics: Created hydrology reports for various locations using Open Roads Modeler that included peak discharge calculations, time of concentration calculations, and Rainfall runoff curves calculations. Analyzed box culverts using HY-8.
  • Geotechnical: Assisted the drill crew bore for SPT & CPT. Analyzed slope stability by using CPT & SPT data gathered from the field.
