I have been in HDD industry for 14 years; 13 consecutive years were in Mears Group Inc… At Mears, I started off as a laborer and earned my way to a management position as a Superintendent. I am able to read and interpret HDD blueprints, design, re-design HDD bore profiles. I was involved in the job pre-planning, design, and execution of the projects. I surveyed and wireline steer HDD bores using Vector Magnetics Paratrack 2 and completed bore shots in various ground conditions, difficult and/or tight workspaces, long-short, big and small HDD bores; pro-efficient on 100x120 Vermeer up to AA880 drill rigs. At Mears I was capable of drilling, steering and manage a crew at the same time when the circumstances presented itself. I joined Brownline, USA team on July 2020 where my focus has now niched down to elevate my survey steering practices and have the best understanding possible of how the Gyro operates.
