The DLC is responsible to the SD for the Agency's data link configuration. The DLC manages data link configuration by initiating directed changes to degraded links with subordinate agencies and recommending changes to degraded links to adjacent and senior agencies.
Responsible to the Weapons Director for detailed airspace management within the TAOC’s assigned sector for all missions not controlled by the AIC or DAC. In addition to providing navigational assistance, the TATC transmits friendly and threat situational awareness information to aircraft entering or transiting through the assigned sector.
Under the direction of the Surveillance Director, monitors radar input, initiates or monitors the acquisition of air tracks, performs preliminary identification, and updates track data as required.
