Working for reckitt as a machine operator helped me build my skills with teamwork and handling stress full situations
• I learned how to run and operate different machines using the HMI and how to troubleshoot to keep production running, and helping other lines aswell.
•Monitored equipment performance and testing products as the batch record required, Assuring the Quality of our product is doing great.
•Moving in raw materials from warehouse, staging in department and dispensing materials for different products.
•As i got promoted to team captain I Trained new operators on safety protocols, how to run different machines, filling out logbooks before each shift and helping out my team and making sure they were doing good each day.
•Made sure myself, my team and other employees were following strict cGMP procedures and rules while we were on the production floor.
•Used SAP to complete batch records and print out labels for the warehouse, order materials and transfer materials to different locations.
As I continued my work in carpentry I was able to learn more in figuring out how to build and work by myself
• I became proficient in checking measurements and making accurate cuts to prevent material waste.
•completed installations of steel stud walls and hanging the gypsum board, also learned how to install acoustical ceilings.
•planning and executing what was needed to be done that day and using proper tools and materials to improve productivity.
As a laborer and apprentice my responsibilities were
•assisting with moving materials and equipment to the job site.
•keeping the job site cleaned up properly and disposing of debris in
specific containers.
•learning and studying OSHA safety requirements
•working with master carpenters to learn how to read blueprints and build walls, soffits, ceilings etc.
