Projects

Rocket Launch and Recovery of Sensitive Payloads

Aerodynamic Car

  • Make initial designs, brainstorm fabrication plans, and plan materials to use and satisfy dimensional requirement and specifications for the car.
  • Create the body of the car, and ensure all components have the right measurements and weight and ensure assembly of car works to measure the drag force acting on it at different flow speeds.
  • Checking 3D print to ensure assembly will work. Attempting to minimize vehicle weight (to reduce cost) while still satisfying design requirements.


  • This project is a high-tech version of the egg drop competition. The silver team was challenged to build a high-power rocket and create a system payload to carry eggs.
  • The rocket that Silver team is creating had 5 subsystems and I am the recovery system engineer.
  • My part as recovery system engineer is to research, Test and report the best component need it to win the competition. The black powder charge, Parachute and shock cord are the main component that I'm working in this project.
