During my time at BJG I was given the opportunity to perfect my skills in production. I was the leader of a four-man crew we completed well workovers, roustabout services (pipe threading, building and repairing tank batteries, distribution and gathering systems pumpjack realignment). I was eventually trained to be a lease operator and oversaw the wells were functioning properly, crude oil loads were picked up by sales, 3rd party contractors were working safely and within the guidelines of our company Policy.

During my time at Jorn I was given the opportunity to learn more aspects of production as well as the workover unit itself. I was trained as a derrick hand! This job was to hang the sucker rods on the derrick also to stand back the working string of tubing.

During my time at Pharaoh Oil & Gas I was introduced to production basics and ran hydraulic equipment, used hand tools.This job was to get the oil well to get back to producing Had to pull out the rods, pump and all the tubing out the hole and replace any bad parts. The floor of a workover rig taught me the value of hard work and created a pathway for me to enter the oil and gas industry.
