Am currently employed with the USPS with 20 years of service 11 years of Maintenance Mechanic got me to highly training in their on school of Industrial Electrical Service this process took interview, 12 study modules with testing, a week of class with testing, a two intense weeks in Norman, Oklahoma USPS school for Industrial Electrical Service this school training include Class,Lab,Testing. My training with Multimeter,Motors,Relay,Fuses, wiring exercises,Ohm's Law, Schematics, including electrical symbols so much to mention. This course was to qualify for Maintenance Mechanic and to prepare the employee for the next level. This position at the post office has taught me so much & outside of my employer am very mechanical skill with tools also as a handy man for allot projects. Am looking for a Hvac company to give me an opportunity to work Part-Time & become a Hvac Technician so I can continue learning and provide an excellent service for the company as well the customers in Austin.
Operations Quality Improvement as Maintenance Mechanic at USPS General Maintenance Facility Plant am responsible to ensure that mail processing equipment is clean by using a powerful vacuum system to absorb as much dust possible generate by letters, replace any broken belts, bearings & power down or up the equipment. Am also; responsible for replacing PIT Battery & Charging equipment. Other duties like assembling fixtures,painting,installing concrete poles on the ground to protect electrical panels & equipment etc.
I love working on cars it is very challenging in troubleshooting trying to find the reasons while the vehicle is not working the challenging part of removing vehicle parts and putting them together is my hobbies.
