Carlos Ortega

As part of the IoT team at The Superway, I contribute to web development, dashboard and mobile app design using the MERN stack. My responsibilities include frontend and backend development, as well as software and hardware architecture planning. Key contributions:

• Lead the effort to transition The Superway to an IoT-based ecosystem and collaborate with a diverse team of multidisciplinary engineers.
• Design and develop backend infrastructure for vehicle-to-vehicle communication, incorporating location sensors on the test track, and implementing a navigation algorithm.
• Lead the transition and continuous application of MERN-based interactive dashboard design.
• Lead the design of the mobile app from conception to final product using React Native.
• Maintain and optimize the company's IT infrastructure for enhanced user engagement and information accuracy.
• Provide input on the planning and designing of the software and hardware hierarchy.
• Guide firmware development with a focus on RTOS for efficient task scheduling to communicate between sensors and motors.
• Enhance The Superway's IoT ecosystem functionality and performance.
• Work with sensor fusion and design testing methodology to integrate new sensors into our system, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
