Since I was young I have had varied interests, and as a result I have developed the characteristics of those who are passionate about the world around them. From learning to understand different perspectives and maintain motivation during long hours on the stage to building trust and thinking critically when helping out the school librarians, I have developed the essential qualities of a hard-worker. Focused and personable, efficient and selfless, the experiences in my life have shown me that such characteristics are important to foster as I begin my college experience. These qualities are not only necessary but imperative to my success so far from home. From my teammates on my old rowing team to the tutees I have tutored, all have claimed that I am a trustworthy and reliable source for them. Whether it be encouragement to preserve though the last 500 meters or a late night tutoring session off the clocks, I am a flexible and altruistic person who finds joy in serving others. From organizing student-wide events to assisting those who only speak Spanish, I am always looking to improve the lives of those in my community.
