· Fills commissary orders: receives & fills unit orders, departmental orders, wholesale & retail orders for commissary items according to specific written & oral requests, serves counter customers & conducts daily cash transactions (e.g. operates cash register to tally amount due & to make correct change); operates microwave & beverage food preparation equipment to serve a variety of items (e.g. hot dogs, soups, coffee, popcorn, pizza, ice tea...) & sells additional packaged items (e.g. chips, pretzels, candy, can soda, juice, milk, sandwiches..) to patients, employees, & visitors. Acts as Lead Worker over Commissary Patient Workers.
· Assists commissary manager in overall commissary operations (e.g., assigns work schedules; checks all cash registers & receipts at end of each day; reconciles petty cash; prepares reports; orders food supplies; maintains commissary security by visual observations of patients & customers, & acts in absence of commissary manager.
· Performs a variety of miscellaneous related duties: prepares & packages miscellaneous items (e.g. salads, fruits, soup..) to be sold in the commissary, cuts cakes & pies, arranges donuts & bagels on display trays; unloads & sorts stock received from delivery trucks, validates orders; stocks bins & arranges merchandise on shelves and counters maintaining adequate supplies on hand for daily sales. Maintains a clean, sanitary, & orderly commissary: wipes & mops spills, washes counters, tables, shelves & floor, cleans equipment used in food preparation (e.g. grill, coffee maker, soup table, dishes...), empties trash.
· Assist in the storeroom with stocking, receiving and delivery functions as directed.

Providing residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan and as directed by supervisors. Responsibilities also include
Recording all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner. Reporting all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse/Nurse Supervisor as soon as practical. Weighing residents in accordance with his/her plan of care. Measuring residents’ temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, weight, intake, output and food consumption and document in the official medical record. Keeping residents’ water pitchers clean and filled with fresh water on each shift and within easy reach of the resident. Preparing residents for meals (i.e., take to bathroom, wash hands, comb hair, raise bed, position tables, place bibs, take to/from dining room, etc.). Recording the resident’s food/fluid intake; report changes in the resident’s eating habits. Assisting residents in accordance to their needs ranging from minimal assistance to total dependent care on activities of daily living (ADLs). Caring for residents with mental and psychosocial disorders as well as residents with history of trauma and/or post-traumatic stress disorder and who have been identified in the facility assessment. Assisting in preparing the resident for exams, tests and procedures; provide support or escort residents to appointments. Assisting in transporting residents to/from appointments, activity and social programs, etc., as necessary. Assisting residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed. Assisting residents with bathing functions (i.e., bed bath, tub or shower bath, etc.) as directed. Assisting residents with daily dental and mouth care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special mouth care, etc.). Assisting residents with dressing/undressing as necessary. Assisting residents with personal grooming (i.e., combing, brushing, shampooing. Assisting with lifting, turning, moving, positioning and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc. Assisting with the application of slings, elastic bandages, binders, etc. Changing bed linens in resident rooms. Checking each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes. Observing and report the presence of pressure areas and skin breakdowns to prevent pressure injuries. Attending change of shift reports. Monitoring residents for behaviors that indicate increased stress. Reporting injuries of an unknown source including skin tears. Reporting all complaints and grievances made by the resident.
