- I started working at the Depot for three days.
I was assigned to work at the Opaloca warehouse. Here, I learned to select the different parts, I learned to check the units of the orders placed, and I participated in the inventory counts. I learned to operate the forklift. My performance was good, and I was able to learn to organize the warehouse work. When the idea of opening the Palm Bay warehouse was mentioned, I was one of the first to get ready to work in Melbourne. Here in Palm Bay, I got my forklift license. I learned to make the orders, collaborating with the operator assigned to carry out this task when there were many orders. - I started to make orders for all the products in the warehouse (washbasins, sinks, handles, lights, and transformers).
I organize the work and take care of everything when the manager goes on vacation or has illness-related problems. I have always liked to learn. Today, even though it is not my job, I am taking on the task of making the orders because the person who made them left the company.
I am a computer scientist; I can install and maintain systems, and I can install and maintain hardware. I know the Office tools, and I know how to program in Visual Basic for Applications (specifically for Excel).
