Preservation Buffalo Niagara has professionalized rapidly in the last 5 years and our operations have not kept up, leaving our small staff sometimes confused about policies and best practices. This project is estimated to save us $2,905 allowing us to offer more community-building resources to home owners in Western New York!

  • As a Virtual Office Manager for The Herbert Agency powered by Equis Financial my primary responsibilities were to recruit, onboard, mentor, and manage licensed and unlicensed insurance sales agents. This included managing job ads across the United States on platforms such as Zip Recruiter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. I was also in charge of managing the CEO's schedule for interviews.
  • I was the first point of contact for new applicants via phone, text, or email. Pre-screened resumes prior to sending to CEO for consideration. Completed human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
  • I sent out all new onboarding paperwork to include contracts, licensing information, and training registrations. This included handling confidential information such as driver's license, direct deposit information, and certifications.

  • Once documents were received I ensured that all information was correct and ready to be presented to our corporate office.
  • Once new agent's were successfully hired it was important to make sure that they were able to complete their duties without disruption.

President of HOA

I started by creating a Facebook page for our neighborhood. Our neighborhood had primarily older residents until recently. I volunteered to become the Social Committee Chair and organize all events for the neighborhood of over 100 residences. I was then nominated by neighbors and the previous president to be the new president. I have been the president for for about 6 months, after serving as the Vice President for 2 years. I deal with any neighborhood complaints, compliance, and any maintenance needed within the neighborhood. I still maintain the Facebook page and create the newsletter for the neighborhood.
