Preservation Buffalo Niagara has professionalized rapidly in the last 5 years and our operations have not kept up, leaving our small staff sometimes confused about policies and best practices. We are striving to bring our operations up to speed to match the exceptional services we provide to our community. This project is estimated to save us $2,905 allowing us to offer more community-building resources to home owners in Western New York!

I started by creating a Facebook page for our neighborhood. Our neighborhood had primarily older residents until recently. I volunteered to become the Social Committee Chair and organize all events for the neighborhood of over 100 residences. I was then nominated by neighbors and the previous president to be the new president. I have been the president for for about 6 months, after serving as the Vice President for 2 years. I deal with any neighborhood complaints, compliance, and any maintenance needed within the neighborhood. I still maintain the Facebook page and create the newsletter for the neighborhood.
