Navigated school planning and opening during Covid-19 for 520 students and 50 staff members. Led and managed whole staff initiatives, school-wide focus areas, and staff meetings. Coached Assistant Principals, Office Manager, and Business Operations Manager to collaborate in management structures across our school. Managed budget, systems and operations (including procurement, facilities, and health and safety planning during Covid), enrollment, hiring, professional development, instruction, and school-wide data management systems.

• 21-22: Winter to Spring NWEA MAP Growth of 1.9 and 1.7 years in reading and math respectively across K-5. 77% of students meeting at least one year of growth.
• 21-22: 71% G5 students proficient or advanced on end of year ELA SBAC (average 57% G3-G5).

Provide teaching staff with resources and opportunities to further professional development and curriculum development. Coach teachers on classroom instructional and management strategies. Cultivate strong student, parent, and staff relationships to help resolve situations and positively affect behavior as well as academic performance. Work with other leadership team members to create systems and initiatives to target our school's areas of growth.

Resident Advisor for a Relay Graduate Student. Resident Advisors act as both mentors and coaches, providing support and guidance on instruction, curriculum, and school culture.  Resident Advisor responsibilities include: assisting the development of the teacher by modeling and co-teaching, curriculum and content development, lesson planning, and evaluations. 

K-3 Reading Coach and School Literacy Specialist; Kindergarten Writing Teacher. 

Created and trained teachers on various curriculum materials including K-2 Science scope and sequences, Interactive Writing scope and sequences aligned to MAP test with professional development, MAP aligned centers and training. Wrote curriculum for K-2 Reader's and Writer's workshop, phonics and phonemic awareness skills, and vocabulary instruction.

Grade level chairs are teacher-leaders that are models of instructional excellence—ensuring that the desired culture is being reflected.  Grade level Chairs are system creators and enforcers, developing processes to support teaching and learning and providing timely and meaningful feedback to benefit the professional development of the teachers in the grade. Responsibilities included but are not limited to: creating project plans and putting into action school wide Stepping Up ceremonies, planning and booking field trips, and coordinating and planning various school-wide and grade level specific events throughout the year.

Developed and implemented interesting and interactive learning mediums to increase student understanding of course materials. Routinely met with students' parents regarding in-class issues and learning interruptions to discuss solutions.
